My name is Joseph Park Kase, and I am a recent UW-Madison graduate with a Bachelor of Science in Communicative Arts, majoring in Radio, TV, and Film, and a certificate in digital studies. I am interested in using media to create engaging and socially significant stories. As the son of a Korean adoptee, some important values for me include identity, community, and compassion, qualities I’ve deepened through four summers working as a mentor at a Korean culture camp, where I’ve led with empathy and helped young campers connect with their heritage. My strengths include thoughtfulness, collaboration, and leadership, which shine in both creative projects and team roles. Having dealt with personal and academic challenges throughout my college experience has made me resilient and helped mold my perception and work ethic. I aspire to build a career in sports media production where I can educate and entertain through impactful, purposeful communication.
